Amy is proud to be a true Prescott native; born and raised in this beautiful city has given Amy the genuine ability to appreciate this community and all it has to offer. She graduated from Prescott High School, went on to earn her Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University, and very recently completed her Master in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix. Amy has been with the Prescott Police Department for over 20 years, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Police. Amy serves on the Board of Directors for the Prescott Kiwanis Club and volunteers for many other community and youth related activities such as Teens Closet, Shop with a Cop, Prescott Area Women Who Care, Arizona Leadership Education and Development through the State of Arizona FBI National Academy Associates and the Youth Leadership Program held annually in Quantico, Virginia. Amy is also a part of several community outreach efforts through her home church, such as the music program and Walk through Bethlehem. Amy is passionate about the youth in our community, and believes when we invest in kids they become STARS with a bright future in Prescott. Amy is most proud to be wife to husband Brandon and Mom to her beautiful 8 year old daughter Reagan. Amy is hopeful that through her participation in Dancing for the Stars many children will have the opportunity to be part of the many programs offered through the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona. She strongly believes that it is up to each of us to have a heart for our children and to make a difference in their lives. Finally, Amy hopes that her performance with dance partner Patrick Wilcox will make the audience smile and believe in the magic of reaching (and dancing) for the stars!
