John MullCelebrity Dancer
John moved to Prescott in 1991 from Kansas where he obtained his law degree and MBA. Here he met his wife Beth, who grew up in Prescott, whom he married in 1997. Together they have two children: Andrew, a sophomore at the University of Arizona and Jacob, a sophomore at Prescott High School. John has continuously practiced law in Prescott since his arrival and has been a partner/owner with Brown Hanna & Mull since 2010. He has also served as a volunteer for the Divorce 101 program through the Yavapai County Superior Court for over 12 years. In addition to being a local business owner, John has been involved in the Boys Scouts (where both his sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout), serving as a law merit badge counselor. John and Beth were also active with and supported the Prescott High School Mountain Bike Team, which Andrew was a member of during his four years there. John is also an avid swimmer and a member of the Prescott Masters Swim Team. He also swims competitively in open water distance events. Having raised two boys in this community, John understands and appreciates the importance of an organization such as the Central Arizona Boys & Girls Club. Consistent with its continued mission to help the youth of our community reach their full potential, this organization offers a multitude of services to assist our local young people in achieving their goals and John is honored to be able to participate in this event to help contribute to its ongoing success.
Alexis PursellProfessional Dancer
Alexis Pursell is a native to Arizona. She began dancing at the age of four and her love and passion for dance continued to grow as she studied various forms throughout her childhood. Alexis moved to Prescott at the age of 17 where she was a varsity cheerleader for Prescott High School and studied dance at the Academy of Performing Arts. After college, Alexis began coaching within the Tri-city area, sharing her love for health, fitness, and dance. In 2013, Alexis left the medical field to begin her career as a personal trainer and health educator. She began teaching Jazz, Hip-Hop and youth cheerleading at Fusion of Movement in Prescott Valley along with various fitness classes throughout the community. With a Master’s degree in Health Education, Alexis strives to educate the community on the benefits of staying active, especially through dance. Alexis is married with four children, two of them past attendees of the Boys & Girls Club. She is a supporter of their programs that focus on academic success, good character & citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Alexis is honored to be a part of the Dancing for the Stars event.
