Maggie Tidaback

Celebrity Dancer
My name is Maggie Tidaback. I moved to Prescott in 1991, just before high school. After graduation from the University of Arizona, I moved to San Diego and started working in commercial real estate. After about 10 years in Southern California I moved home and opened a business and a restaurant in the Phoenix area. I couldn’t take the heat after my first daughter was born in 2010 so we moved back to Prescott. My husband’s name is Gary and I have 2 daughters and a 21 month old son; their names are Noelle, Mazzie and Odin. My step-kids, Bailey and Gary, both attend Chino Valley High School. We live close to family and like the open space and small town vibe that Chino Valley has to offer. I love Arizona! We frequent the outdoors camping, fishing and other things. Our family loves sports and baseball is our favorite. Chino Valley really is a little baseball town! Professionally, I am the Economic Development Project Manager for the Town and I love it! I feel like I am doing something for a purpose and making positive changes. It’s a blessing to be part of building a town and watching it grow. I am both happy and honored to be part of this amazing and fun opportunity to help kids.

Sarah Hinson

Professional/Choreographer
Sarah Hinson began dancing at the age of 3. She studied ballet, tap and jazz which extended to lyrical, hip hop, swing and contemporary by high school graduation. It was at this time that Sarah was introduced to flamenco dancing, inspiring her to move to Albuquerque, NM to study at the National Conservatory of Flamenco. Sarah danced professionally as a company member of Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company under the direction of Joaquin Encinias. Sarah toured with Yjastros for 5 years performing and competing, as well as earning a degree at the University of New Mexico. At the University Sarah also studied modern dance extensively and became involved in many modern dance projects, including dancing as a soloist in the resurrection of Hanya Holm’s “Rota”, earning national recognition. Back in Prescott, Sarah is studying and performing belly dance and is a member of Why Not BELLYDANCE???; a local performance troupe that insists on having fun! She currently is an instructor of belly dance and flamenco dance, as well as a self-employed piano instructor at Sarah Hinson Piano Studio. Sarah is grateful to all her instructors guiding her throughout the years, and to her family for always supporting her artistic endeavors. Sarah would also like to thank the Boys & Girls Clubs for bringing wonderful programs and opportunities to the youth of our communities!
