John DunkelCelebrity Dancer
John Dunkel, his wife of 20 years Emily and their four children, Maggie, Mike, Matt and Mark moved to Prescott in the fall of 2015. The opportunity to move to Prescott was the chance to run the local Charles Schwab office. Re-locating from Northern Indiana, where the winter before the move, we had experienced 10 days straight below minus 20, was an additional bonus. The immediate Lure was to leave the winters of the Midwest, but we certainly did not know the complete picture of Prescott by just our research on the internet. We have enjoyed moving here and becoming involved in the community though the Boys and Girls Club, American Lutheran Church and our children’s’ schools and activities. John, has been a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona since the Fall of 2017 a member of the Kiwanis Club and on Foundations Board, members of American Lutheran Church and a member of the Benevolence Committee. John, Emily and family enjoy hiking and outdoor activities. While we do miss the water of the Great Lakes and Oceans living in the high desert, there are always vacations. John along with his professional dance partner Marina Rogova O’Brien hope to raise money for a great cause and entertain the audience in the spring of 2020.
