Leslie HortonCelebrity Dancer
Leslie Horton is the Director of Yavapai County Community Health Services. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and a Master of Administration with an emphasis in Public Health, both from Northern Arizona University. Leslie has been with YCCHS since starting as an intern in community health education in 2002. She has expertise in planning, implementing, evaluating and managing public health programs, as well as developing health promoting policies, systems and environments. In 2017, she was appointed the Director of YCCHS and Yavapai County Health Officer, working to build strong community and statewide partnerships, as well as overseeing the County Medical Examiner’s office. As the Board President of the Arizona Local Health Officer’s Association, she also serves on the Arizona Public Health Association Board, Board of Directors for MATForce, the local substance abuse prevention coalition, and Northland Cares an HIV/AIDS care and support provider, the Yavapai Justice and Mental Health Coalition, Arizona Western Region Advisory Council For Homeland Security, and more. With over 19 years’ experience, and a comprehensive knowledge of public health and the communities served by the department, she currently works to assure that public health services are effectively and efficiently delivered throughout Yavapai County.
Zach LeonardProfessional Dancer
Zachary has been proud to call Prescott home for the past six years. Having a bicoastal upbringing in southern California and Rhode Island, he has always enjoyed creating meaningful connections with a wide variety of people and values volunteerism and community service. When he isn’t healing the community as an emergency Physician Assistant, Zachary serves on the Board of Directors for Arizona Masters Swimming, Kind Defined, and is actively involved with Prescott Area Young Professionals (PAYP). Previously, he volunteered as a Field of Play team member in aquatics at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and was a recipient of the PAYP Visionary Award. He is also a graduate of Prescott Area Leadership. He supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona because their mission of enabling young people to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens is a value he believes to be a top priority in ensuring a bright future for Prescott and our world.
